About Us

MUSA (Museums for All) is dedicated to bridging the accessibility gap in the cultural sector by bringing Irish Sign Language (ISL) video tours to museums across Ireland. We believe that art and heritage should be universally accessible, yet the Deaf community often faces significant barriers, from a lack of on-site interpreters to overwhelming blocks of written text.
Our mission is to partner with local museums to transform the visitor experience into one that is inclusive, engaging, and autonomous. By integrating high-quality ISL interpretation with modern digital tools, we empower Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing patrons to explore culture at their own pace and in their primary language.
Case Studies
Our case studies highlight how we handle the technical production while you maintain curatorial control. Discover how MUSA can transform your collection into a universally accessible cultural destination.
Inclusive Museums IrelandPartnering with MUSA
We provide a streamlined, tech-forward framework that allows your institution to launch a professional ISL tour with minimal internal heavy lifting.
Your team identifies the "hero objects" and provides the core scripts, ensuring the storytelling aligns with your curatorial vision. From there, MUSA takes over the production: we coordinate with professional ISL interpreters, edit the video content, and integrate optional captions and audio.
To bring the tour to life on the gallery floor, we provide custom-designed QR codes and a mobile-first web app experience.
