






The O Dea Crozier and Mitre are on display in the Museum on behalf of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Limerick. They were made to the order of Bishop Conor O Dea of Limerick in 1418 and still belong to his successor. The Crozier is shaped like a shepherd's staff and shows many religious figures. The Mitre is a golden hat decorated with pearls and holy words.
